It has slightly better recovery than polyester, but poor corrosion resistance. It shrinks slightly at 90°C and has a softening point of 140-160°C, a relative elongation of 18-35% and a tensile strength of 4.5-9g/day. Its melting point is 165-173°C and the specific gravity is 0.91.
