The filter cloth should not be hung too loosely or too tightly, as too loose cloth can easily accumulate dust, and too tight cloth can easily damage it.
New and old bag filters should not be mixed to avoid damage at different times, which may affect the normal operation of the equipment.
The replaced filter cloth should first be blown with compressed air and then checked for holes. Any holes should be repaired and left for replacement. If the filter bag is covered with dust, wash it with water, cool it dry and leave it for replacement.

1. Cotton industrial filter cloth normal maximum continuous operating temperature is 180°F. Primarily used for vibrating screen collectors, common applications include: janitorial, air purification, woodworking, cement and stone products, and other general ambient air treatment applications. Poor chemical resistance and high flammability. Cotton industrial filter cloths have good chemical resistance in dry ambient conditions and are not recommended for use in the presence of mineral acids and oxidizing agents. These filters have good resistance to bending and flat wear. Cotton has a good cleaning effect, and static electricity often fixes a dust crust on other fibers. Cotton has a flame retardant coating. 2. Polyester industrial filter cloth normal maximum continuous working temperature is 275 ° F. Polyester felt has excellent chemical resistance, wear resistance and dry heat degradation. Polyester is suitable for dry heat applications and is superior to synthetic materials other than aramid in this regard. Polyester is not suitable for humid and hot working conditions, since under certain special circumstances it can cause hydrolysis of the polyester raw material, thereby affecting the service life of filter fabrics. Except for high concentrations of nitric, sulfuric and carbolic acids, polyester has good resistance to most mineral and organic acids. At the same time, it has good resistance to weak alkalinity and moderate resistance to strong alkalinity under low temperature conditions. Polyester also shows excellent resistance to most oxidizing agents and organic solvents. But it is not recommended for some phenolic compounds. It is not recommended to use high concentrations of strong alkali at high temperatures. 3. Polypropylene Industrial Filter Cloth normal maximum continuous service temperature is 170°F. Polypropylene felt is used in environments where chemicals and moisture will attack other fibers. Polypropylene has excellent properties of high strength and acid and alkali resistance. The smoothness of the fibers gives the filter cake good demolding and anti-fouling properties. Polypropylene has good resistance to both mineral and organic acids, but is not suitable for sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide environments above 200°F. It has good resistance to most reducing agents and also exhibits good tolerance of most organic solvents except ketones and esters.
4. Nylon Industrial Filter Cloth normal maximum continuous service temperature is 250°F. Nylon felt is commonly used in highly abrasive dust applications. It has good alkali resistance under most conditions, but is slightly inferior in antioxidant properties. High concentrations and temperatures can cause complete decomposition. Nylon industrial filter cloth has good resistance to common organic solvents.
5. Acrylic industrial filter cloth normal maximum continuous working temperature is 275 ° F. It is commonly used for aluminum recovery and primary or secondary smelting. It has excellent acid resistance and is superior to polyamide and polyester in this regard. Acrylic acid is not as resistant to alkali as most fibers. Acrylic acid has good tolerance to most oxidizing agents. It has excellent tolerance to most common organic solvents. Acrylic acid generally has good acid resistance and high resistance to hydrolysis. Acrylic filter cloth is more expensive than polyester or polypropylene filter cloth.
